Nicola Wakefield established her studio in South Oxfordshire in 2016 and has since been involved in projects of all sizes from roof terraces in central London to country estates in Surrey, Hampshire and Oxfordshire.

With a degree in law from Cambridge, she worked in the City for 9 years before gaining a diploma in Garden Design at KLC in 2015. She worked for a number of years for a well known garden designer in South London maintaining and planting up gardens. On moving to South Oxfordshire she worked in the potting shed at Orchard Dene Nursery. Her real love of gardening began as a child in Herefordshire.

She brings a lawyer’s eye for detail, deep experience of project management and working to deadlines and has both a creative and highly professional approach to garden design.
