Following an initial consultation we will draw up a detailed design brief setting out the scope of works, a breakdown of each stage and associated costs.

The existing level changes, buildings, trees, utilities and services all need to be recorded by a professional surveyor as this forms the basis of the design. We will also carry out a full photographic survey and analysis which feeds into the design concept. The fees do not include the cost of the professional survey but we can arrange this service on your behalf.

Using the information gathered during the initial consultation, we will create a unique and tailored concept for your garden. The concept will be presented in a document using sketches, 3D images and inspirational images to illustrate the overall layout, proposed hardscape elements and planting concept all helping to visualise how your garden will look.

We work closely with architects, interior designers and local artisan craftsmen such as blacksmiths and sculptors to create a unique garden space that sits in harmony with the house.

Once the concept is approved, we will work to develop a detailed set of drawings. These will detail every aspect of the design including construction drawings, specifications for paving, steps, walling, seating, water features, etc. These plans provide all the information needed for one of our landscapers to provide an accurate quote and to build from.

With your input we produce a planting concept document with images and details of all the plants. Once agreed we create a detailed soft landscaping pack including planting plans, specifications, plant schedules, tree selection, etc.

We closely supervise all aspects of the construction, planting and styling of the garden on behalf of our clients to ensure the works are implemented in accordance with the detailed design drawings.

I have strong relationships with quality wholesale nurseries. Plants are sourced from these nurseries and growers to ensure strong healthy specimens. Where trees or large shrubs are included in the design we will visit our suppliers to hand pick them.

We can also help source beautiful pots and quality furniture to ensure you can relax and enjoy your new garden.
